Our Approach
GreenFX Applied to AI
AI is one of the fastest-growing, most resource-intensive technologies our industry has ever adopted. As AI usage continues to grow, we’re actively tracking the research on its environmental footprint, and watching what the infrastructure providers we depend on — including Google — are doing to build more sustainable data centers and ease the strain AI places on local power grids and water supplies.
Rather than standing up a separate “AI-only” sustainability initiative, we’re applying the same GreenFX commitment that’s made WebFX carbon negative since 2021 to this next challenge. Our Guatemala Conservation Coast partnership, our water cleanup work with The Ocean Cleanup and The Water Project, our solar-powered headquarters, and our employee-driven FlexFX conservation program all continue to scale alongside our AI usage.
