See Inside WebFX July 2018: There’s Confetti Inside This Post
Tails, tailgating, and a tale of two names. July was a true firecracker of a month that came in and went out with a bang, and we can’t wait to share what all went on InsideFX (as well as more terrible puns) with you!
Our July goals meeting was covered in a little extra awesome sauce as Bill Craig (President) gave his semi-annual presentation and status update on the company. We rolled out new programs (yay for lunch delivery!), caught a glimpse of mood boards for the new building (FX3), and enjoyed some extra special treats to symbolize our endless pursuit of 1% improvement each day. Seeing all of our FX Family together in the same room always sets the tone for an awesome month!
Duckling and alligator lovers alike enjoyed this month’s reward for crushing our June goals! A petting zoo was set up on our Atrium Green with everything from ponies to piglets and yes, even baby alligators (which a few brave team members got to pet!). The adorable crew stuck around all day so each team had time to visit. In conclusion, we’ve decided a duck pond should be the next addition to the FX Campus. What do you say, Bill and Karie?
Whether you’re a fan of sports or grilled burgers (no shame in either game) our FX Tailgates are hard to beat! The team assembled on the FX Campus before a Harrisburg Senators game to enjoy food, drinks, music, and top-notch company. Peep the interview with Aaron in the JulyFX video for some real Senators knowledge!
DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
We had a terrific run as WebpageFX. From Bill Craig’s dorm room back in 1996 to our team of almost 200 in 2018, the company continues to embody a tenacious growth mindset and dedication to constant improvement. Although we’ll always love the original name WebpageFX and all it’s come to mean to us, the time has come to unveil WebFX – our new identity! Chances are your parents have been calling us WebFX anyway, so the change isn’t too staggering on the surface, but behind the scenes, our team has been working for over a year to complete this transition. On Friday we officially launched as WebFX and celebrated with a New Years Eve style ball drop (dropped by Waldo, who came out of hiding for this momentous occasion – can you find the original Waldo sighting in the JulyFX video?) in addition to a champagne toast (which Bill ceremoniously popped with a saber) and massive cake (prepared by our one and only Anna Rose Bakery of course). We can’t wait to see what the future holds for WebFX!
