What We're Looking For

Desired Education

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Journalism, Communications, Information Systems or Statistics (GPA above a 3.4)

General Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of the Internet, copywriting, customer service and Internet technologies
  • Basic understanding of keyword research and selection (Desired)
  • Basic understanding of SEO (Desired)


  • Should have customer service experience in any industry
  • Part time/summer job/internship experience is a must
  • Basic HTML experience (a plus)
  • Experience creating dynamic videos that are engineered to achieve key business objectives
  • Experience creating eye-popping content that connects with its intended audience online
  • Experience setting and communicating priorities to project teams, while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advertising agency experience (a plus)
  • Any digital marketing experience (a plus)
  • Experience with Google Analytics (a plus)

What You'll Do


  • Research, coordinate, create, edit and produce high-quality design assets and web videos
  • Work with internal and client-facing marketing teams on video and web content projects
  • Communicate effectively across teams to understand goals and objectives for video and design projects
  • Use organization, communication, and troubleshooting skills to prioritize multiple assignments and meet project deadlines
  • Bring a creative, modern eye to a variety of video and design projects for WebFX agency and client initiatives
  • Hit KPIs and business objectives through a variety of content-centric projects

Percentage Breakdown

  • 30% filming and editing web videos using the latest software (whiteboards, story telling, product information, video blogs, etc.)
  • 25% writing and developing other forms of digital content (blog posts, infographics, micrographics, etc.)
  • 15% researching industry resources to conceptualize content projects (blog posts, infographics, micrographics, etc.)
  • 10% digitally communicating with team members to conceptualize and storyboard content and video projects that meet key objectives
  • 10% writing and editing video scripts
  • 10% marketing and promoting videos across the web
  • Note: The Jr. Earned Media Content Specialist is not a client-facing position


  • Our “Bootcamp” web marketing training program will be provided for new WebFX “family members”.
  • On-site, state of the art training amenities to facilitate departmental trainings, trend watch reports, and monthly Lunch-and-Learns
