Goodbye WebpageFX, Hello WebFX

Ahh, the age-old question, “What’s in a name?”

As we contemplated this question, we realized that for the past 20 years, the name WebpageFX has come to signify many things — award-winning digital marketing services, dedication to client success, and the #BestCoworkersinPA to name a few.

While all those things will stay the same, it’s time to bid farewell to the name WebpageFX and say hello to our new moniker. Drum roll, please…

Why the name change?

Founded by Bill Craig in a Shippensburg University dorm room in 1996, WebpageFX focused on providing web design and development services to optimize web pages — hence the name WebpageFX.

Bill explains, “When we began in 1996, websites were literally one page, which made WebpageFX a fitting name for the company.

We also focused heavily on web design and web development at the time. Fast-forward to today, our variety of service offerings have grown substantially, as has our number of team members.”

Today, our offerings span a variety of services from SEO, PPC, web design, social media marketing, content marketing, and much more. That’s why we decided to drop the “page” and simply become WebFX.

Short and sweet, our new name reflects our transition into the world’s leading performance-driven digital marketing agency for mid-sized businesses.
