As with anything you do, you should always follow some golden rules when it comes to Internet marketing analytics. These include:
- Use a reputable data analytics platform. If you’re serious about collecting analytics data, it isn’t worth it to go for the cheapest analytics platform available. The longer you keep data, the more you’ll be able to tell when something is just an unusual occurrence and when it’s something that you need to more deeply consider.
- Be patient with the process. Internet marketing analytics isn’t something you do for a week, a month, or even a year. It has to be an ongoing process if it’s going to be an asset to your company.
