What We're Looking For

Desired Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Journalism, Communications
  • Cumulative GPA above an 85/100

General Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of the internet
  • Solid understanding of social media
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Must have smart phone with WiFi capabilities / ability to utilize Instagram app for business purposes

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

The goal of our social engagement, monitoring and listening activities is to capture the style and tone of each business that we work with and cultivate a unique connection with their audiences. WebFX looks for monitoring specialists who are eager to understand a business’s unique style and tone. Social listening specialists will utilize standard operating procedures, template responses and own judgement/critical thinking to craft proposed responses to provide quality social media customer service.

  • Monitor activity on a high volume of client social profiles 2-3x daily
  • Utilize native social network monitoring dashboards and inboxes (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Blogs, Pinterest, etc.) as well as any third-party tools to monitor activity
  • Adopt and cultivate brand voice to engage with audience and promote brand personality
  • Utilize available data and research to answer audience comments and direct messages
  • Able to independently seek out answers and perform research and analysis to determine the best approach and response
  • Responsibly escalate issues by sending alerts through WebFX monitoring and project management tools and follow up on those email alerts to make sure all situations are handled appropriately.
  • Collaborate with account manager to address unique inquiries and situations if/when needed
  • Must have strong writing/grammatical skills as well as ability to present information and ideas logically and clearly; keen eye for detail also required.
